Check what still applies
Use when an old message mentions a date or offer that may no longer apply.
I have an old message from [PERSON], sent [WHEN]: [MESSAGE]. What has changed since then: [PASSED DATES OR CHANGED CIRCUMSTANCES]. What I can offer now: [CURRENT ANSWER OR OFFER]. Work step by step. First state in one sentence which part of the original request is still actionable, without assuming how the sender feels. Then draft one reply under 60 words that acknowledges any missed event accurately and offers only what I supplied. Do not invent availability or ask about an event as though it is upcoming. Ask whether the offer still feels right and wait before revising.

Sample input Priya invited me to a housewarming three weeks ago, and the party has already happened. I missed it and would like to offer coffee next week, but I do not know which days I am free yet.
Sample AI reply The housewarming has passed; an offer to catch up is still actionable. “Hi Priya, I’m sorry I missed your housewarming. I’d love to catch up over coffee next week if you’re interested. We can find a day that works for us both.” Does offering coffee next week still feel right?
